Just Add Heat Terms and Conditions

By registering for a Just Add Heat session, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions set forth below:

  1. Members will freeze their Just Add Heat meals promptly following their assembly session
  2. Members will assume full responsibility for the transportation (unless using Just Add Heat delivery service) and proper storage of all Just Add Heat meals
  3. Members will cook Just Add Heat meals in accordance with the instructions
  4. Members release, waive and forever discharge, Just Add Heat, its officers, employees and those it is responsible for in law of and from all claims, damages, and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of their preparation, storage, transportation and consumption of Just Add Heat meals, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Just Add Heat, its officer, employees or those it is responsible for in law
  5. Members undertake to hold and save harmless and indemnify Just Add Heat, its officers, employees and those it is responsible for in law from all claims, damages, and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of their preparation, storage, transportation and consumption of Just Add Heat meals, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Just Add Heat, its officer, employees or those it is responsible for in law
  6. The release, waiver and indemnity provisions shall bind a Member’s heirs, executor, administrators, successors and assigns
  7. Members will not resell their Just Add Heat dinners or use them for commercial service
  8. Members will not attend any Just Add Heat assembly sessions if they have or have been exposed to any communicable illnesses, including cold, flu, etc.

Cancellations

Since our food is ordered fresh, cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are not refundable. We understand that life is unpredictable, and if possible, we will work with you to reschedule your session within one week of your original session date without penalty. This policy is in place because we purchase our food in advance and prepare it for you so it will be ready when you arrive. If you are unable to come, feel free to send a friend in your place, or if time allows, we will prepare your meals for you.

Please contact us during inclement weather situations to see if your session has been cancelled. In the event the kitchen must close, information will be provided on our voicemail and every effort will be made to reschedule your session.

Refunds

Just Add Heat will replace or refund the cost of any item you find unsatisfactory. In an effort to improve our business and serve you better, we ask that you let us know what it was about the returned item that was unsatisfactory (and it would be best for us if you could return it to us for analysis).

Privacy

Your personal information is used for internal purposes only. It is never shared or sold. To better support our relationship, we will occasionally send you mail to let you know about events and specials at Just Add Heat. By becoming a Member you are consenting to the collection and use of personal information for the limited purposes outlined in this Policy. If you have any concerns regarding your privacy or if there is any change to your personal information please contact us at your convenience.

Additional People Attending Sessions

Our members sometimes like to bring friends, family, or older children along to a session to help. Because of this, we are sometimes too crowded for our members to move easily through their stations and complete their session. We would ask that if you wish to have family or friends attend that you have them remain with you at each station. If the session is not crowded, then the additional persons may work at stations on their own.

Children must be at least 10 years old and tall enough to see over the counters to attend Just Add Heat sessions. Each child attending a session must be accompanied by an adult (one child per adult) and the child must remain with the supervising adult at all times. If a group of parents would like to attend a session with their children, they may make arrangements for a private session.
